[Airline 62-274] [Airline glow]
Airline 62-274, 1938 This is a closeup of the dial area, glowing in the dark.  The radio's designers even arranged for the call letter tabs to glow softly by getting illumination from the rear.
 
Tube complement: 6A8G mixer/oscillator, 6K7 IF, 6Q7G detector, 6K6G audio output, 5Y3G rectifier, 6U5 tuning eye.

Approximately 12-3/4 inches / 324 mm wide.



The one-piece Bakelite cabinet is molded like an upside-down bowl.  The chassis installs through the bottom. [Airline 62-274 back view]
